As you enter the
forest the sunlight seems to fade behind the clouds and massive
tree branches that hover over you. Distant howlings in the mist warn of impending
danger. Suddenly from the shadows, a hunter spots you and lowers his weapon.
Warily he
approaches with a cautious grin and points towards the bridge and weather
worn sign up ahead.
"Welcome to our realm," he says "The village is just
up ahead... up across the bridge.
Ye'll be safe there. Tis not far but beware the wolves and faeries that protect
this forest.
Tis their home and they don't like strangers about. Hurry, lest the darkness
makes it impossible for thee to go any further."
