Kloey Book 1

This was my first attempt at creating an altered book. I learned about this hobby watching Carol Duval's craft show on DIY. After much research on techniques and ideas I decided to put my stories into such a highly decorated book. It took me weeks to finish this but it came out nicely for my first try. See what you think!

I took a regular book and printed out a graphic of Kloey and glued it to the front cover. Then I glued gold trimming and covered all the work with Mod Podge waterbase sealer to protect it.

I then began to remove pages inside to allow room for all the paper I was going to paste inside. I created this Title page with my computer, printed it and trimmed.

I typed stories, printed them out from my computer and trimmed the pages to fit inside the book. I also printed and sized images to fit the story.

I also did a little whimsical calligraphy for some of the pages to match the font I chose for titles and captions.
